Yoga Instructor, Jewelry Designer

Whitney Stern began studying Hatha, Vinayasa and Ashtanga Yoga in Seattle in 1997. She has been a committed and dedicated Yoga practitioner ever since. Yoga offers her balance & pure joy, which she thoroughly enjoys sharing with her students. Whitney graduated from Brandeis University in Boston, MA in 2004 majoring in Sociology, Political Science, and Latin American Studies. She came to yoga after sustaining a fracture in her foot as a professional long distance runner, a blessing in disguise. 

Whitney currently teaches Private and Group Yoga classes in the Bellevue and Seattle areas.

In addition to being a yoga instructor, Whitney is also a jewelry designer. She launched her own company Whitney Stern Jewelry Design www.whitneystern.com in 2007 after being inspired by the incredible handmade artisan skills of indigenous women she met while living and studying in South America. She currently sells to Henri Bendel in NYC and Nordstrom boutiques among other stores on the west coast.
