Rachel Foster

Rachel Foster is originally from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, where she trained with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School and attended summer courses at the School of American Ballet and San Francisco Ballet School. She joined Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in 1998 and joined Pacific Northwest Ballet in 2002.

Since joining the PNB, Rachel’s danced leading roles in several productions, including George Balanchine's Symphony in Three Movements, Todd Bolender's Souvenirs, and Val Caniparoli's Lambarena.

“Ballet is a very passionate art,” says Rachel, “The gift that you get from the audience, the applause, all the hard work you do – you get that back when you perform.”

As a model for the MPG line, Rachel enjoyed the dynamic of the clothing, “MPG is so multi-use, so fashionable you wouldn’t expect it to be comfortable too."
